SEED School Christmas Distribution ⭐
As part of our international Bridge the Gap Initative, Uplift Scholars partnered with SEED School in Kibera, Kenya to donate over 1,110 workbooks, 170 backpacks, and lunches to students in the third largest slum in the world 💗 We were able to impact over 170 children, from those first starting elementary school to teenagers, helping bridge Kibera’s illiteracy crises and resource deficits✨ We are so grateful to have partnered with both Teach with Africa & SEED School in this amazing project and can’t wait for future collaborations. Thank you to all the lovely staff and volunteers for working with us to make this possible.

Fly Me to the Moon Fundraiser
Uplift Scholars hosted a Fly Me to the Moon Bubble Tea & Onigiri fundraiser on Friday, December 14! We were able to sell out of over 100+ cups of bubble tea and 60+ onigiri ⭐ Thank you everyone for supporting us as we continue bridging educational gaps.

SEED Kenya Backpack Distribution Update
As our collaboration with SEED Kenya approaches, we are so excited to announce that some of the supplies have arrived! We have officially bought the 170 backpacks we are planning to distribute to children in Kibera, one of the world’s largest slums 🎒Stay tuned for more updates

Fly Me to the Moon Bubble Tea & Onigiri Fundraiser
Uplift Scholars hosted a Fly Me to the Moon bubble tea and onigiri fundraiser last Friday, November 14th at Syosset High School🧋 We successfully sold out of over 100 cups of bubble tea and 60+ onigiri! Thank you everyone for supporting schools nationwide.

Syosset High School School Supply Drive
We hosted a month-long school supplies drive at Syosset High School from October 1, 2025 to November 14, 2025! We are so grateful to have received over $350 in school supply and book donations 😊 All supplies will be going to low-income communities and schools nationwide.

Learning Under the Sky Program
Uplift Scholars officially launched its Learning Under the Sky Program on November 9th, in collaboration with Global Teachers Institute and Teach with Africa. Our Learning Under the Sky Program is a community-based early learning initiative that will help children aged 2-5 living in rural or township communities in South Africa where access to Early Childhood Development Centres is limited ✨ Each session will take place “under the sky” or in a gazebo where students learn weekly activities that develop their literacy, numeracy, creativity, fine motor development, and socio-emotional skills at a young age 💗

Book Drive at St. John’s University
From November 2nd to December 2nd, Uplift Scholars hosted a book drive with St. John’s University to help support Title I schools nationwide. We collected over 400 children’s books which were then donated to underfunded schools! 💞

Uplift Month Recap
Thank you everyone for supporting Uplift Scholars during Uplift Month, the month of October! We dedicated this month to fundraisers and school supply drives to raise more money for our youth programs worldwide, including our upcoming collaborations with Teach with Africa, SEED Schools in Kibera, and Global Teachers Institute ⭐ We were able to raise thousands of dollars in donations and school supplies 💝

We hosted a Crumbl Cookies fundraiser on Thursday, October 16th at Syosset High School in collaboration with Crumbl Cookies 🍪💞 We were able to sell out of over 100 cookies! Thank you everyone for helping support schools worldwide!

South Woods Middle School Visit
On October 15th, 2025, Uplift Scholars presented to the South Woods Middle School Business Club! In our meeting, we spread awareness about educational inequalities, while educating future young leaders on our mission and how to help alleviate these issues 💗 We had a lot of insightful, educational discussions and were able to get students involved in our book & school supply drives 😊 Thank you for letting us visit and present our mission to students!

Buckets of Kindness Art-Storytelling Collaborative (Partnership with Youth Art Center)
We hosted an art-storytelling collaborative with Youth Art Center on Sunday, August 17th at Syosset Woodbury Park! We did a storytelling activitiy with prizes, reading “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” 🌈 Then, children made their own “buckets” and put things of kindness inside.

Big Dreams Story Hour
On August 16, we partnered with Syosset Public Library to host our Big Dreams Storytelling, featuring “Maya and the Backpack of Big Dreams” written by Founder Elaine Liu ✨ Children participated in a storytelling session, followed by coloring activities, and ended off with a fun scavenger hunt! We are so grateful for everyone who attended ❤️

Bubble Tea Fundraiser
On Friday, April 11, the Uplift Scholars team partnered with YAAAS Tea to host a Bubble Tea Fundraiser at Syosset High School. We successfully sold out of over 100 cups of bubble tea! Thank you everyone for supporting 🧋 All proceeds went towards Uplift Scholars. Stay tuned as we hope to host more fundraisers in the future 💗

School Supplies Fundraiser
The Uplift Scholars team collected a full box of school supplies from our very first school supplies drive. From 2/14-2/26, the community dropped off pencils, papers, binders, notebooks, and more at Levittown Public Library 📚 Soon, we will be donating these supplies to schools! Thank you to everyone who was able to contribute to our drive 💗

SYO ACCESS Virtual Event
Partnering with @syo_access and other local organizations, we took part in a virtual event to showcase everything that Uplift Scholars does. We garnered over 40+ attendees❤️ At the event, we created a presentation and presented it in front of members of our community, as well as Long Island Volunteer Center’s Chair Member Patricia Force.

SYO ACCESS Event
Our Uplift Scholars team successfully participated in our first ever event and showcased our organization at the @syo_access event, with over 150+ attendees ✨ At the event, we offered free worksheets, coloring activities, and gifts while engaging our community with our organization.
